Construction workers depend on ladders to get up to heights that aren't reachable from the ground. While these devices provide a valuable service, they also pose a hazard to the men and women who climb up and descend on them. 19-to-24 age group might be the most dangerous drivers

New York motorists who are between 19 and 24 years of age might be more likely than others to engage in dangerous driving behaviors like speeding or texting while driving, but Americans in all age groups reported driving dangerously in the past 30 days in a survey released on Feb. 15 by the AAA Foundation for Traffic Safety. Furthermore, many drivers engaged in dangerous behaviors even though they said those behaviors were unacceptable.

Risk of crashes increase when drivers are not healthy

Truck drivers in New York and throughout the country tend to have poor eating and sleeping habits. They may also have health issues because they sit for long periods of time. According to a study from University of Utah School of Medicine, the risk of getting into an accident increases fourfold for those who have at least three health issues. Overall, the crash rate is 29 per 100 million miles traveled.
