Some Vecaro hoverboards recalled due to overheating

On March 24, the U.S Consumer Product Safety Commission announced a recall that could impact hoverboard enthusiasts in New York. According to reports, the recall affects three types of self-balancing scooters that were manufactured by Vecaro. The potentially defective product was offered for sale online and at one audio store on the West Coast from November 2015 through November 2016. Any consumer who acquired a Drift 8, Glide 65 or Trek 10 scooter during this time frame is urged to stop using it immediately and contact the manufacturer for credit or repair.
